İptal & İade Koşulları

1. How is a subscription cancelled?
There is no automatic renewal in Gödel subscriptions. At the end of the period you purchased (monthly or annual), the subscription ends automatically and your account returns to the free plan; no further charge is made to your card. For this reason, you do not need to carry out a separate transaction in order to “cancel” — it is enough not to place an order for a new period.
2. Right of withdrawal and the digital service exception
Pursuant to Article 15 of the Regulation on Distance Contracts (Mesafeli Sözleşmeler Yönetmeliği), services performed instantaneously in electronic form are among the exceptions to the right of withdrawal: the subscription is assigned to your account the moment the payment is verified and the service is opened for use.
Notwithstanding this, if you have not used the service at all (if you have not made use of the features opened by the subscription), we refund the full amount of the fee upon a refund request you submit within 14 days from the date of purchase. We assess this condition not at our discretion but by checking whether your account has any recorded usage after the payment; if no such record exists, the refund is made.
3. The position for used subscriptions
If you have started to use the features opened by the subscription, the service is deemed to have been performed and, as a rule, no refund is made. However, if you were unable to access the service for a reason attributable to us (such as a prolonged outage, incorrect assignment of the plan, or a double charge), notify us of the situation: we correct the error and, if necessary, extend the period or make a refund. Double/incorrect charges are refunded in all cases.
4. How do you submit your request?
You can send your refund requests to [email protected] from the e-mail address of the account used for the payment. Stating the order date and, if any, the order number in your request speeds up the process. Requests are concluded within 14 days at the latest.
5. How is the refund made?
Approved refunds are made by the method through which the payment was received (via iyzico, to the card used for the payment). The time for the amount to be reflected in your card account depends on your bank and usually takes a few business days; this period is not under the Seller’s control.
6. Your data when your subscription ends
When the subscription ends, your account is not deleted: it returns to the free plan. You can continue to access the works you have written and to export them as Word/PDF/LaTeX; only the features specific to the Academic plan and usage above the quota are closed. The output of your effort is under no circumstances held hostage.
7. Disputes
If you are not satisfied with the outcome of your request, you may apply to the Consumer Arbitration Committees and the Consumer Courts within the framework of the monetary limits. The Seller’s details are set out in the Distance Sales Agreement.
